In today’s business the USB port on a PC device is a major benefit but can also be a real security risk. A clear benefit in that you can quickly connect external devices such as memory card devices like cameras, IPODs, MP3 players, printers, scanners and other third party devices. The risk is that anyone can connect an external storage device such as a flash drive or memory stick and either download unprotected files and data or worse still - upload company information and data.
